Spring Gala 2012

Support Roundabout at the biggest fundraising of the season and attend the 2012 Spring Gala, From Screen to Stage, for an evening of Hollywood glamour with Broadway flair. The event will honor director/choreographer Rob Marshall (Cabaret, Company, She Loves Me, Little Me) with the Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre. The evening will feature a seated dinner in the beautiful Hammerstein Ballroom and a star-studded tribute, directed by Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes) and hosted by Martin Short (Little Me).

 

The highlight of the Spring Gala will be an original musical tribute to Rob Marshall, created by his sister Kathleen Marshall, the Tony Award-winning choreographer and director of Roundabout’s current revival of Anything Goes. From Screen to Stage will feature moments from the movie musicals that Rob adored growing up, brought to the stage by an incredible cast of Hollywood and Broadway stars. The evening will be hosted by Martin Short, a Tony Award-winner for our 1998 revival of Little Me, Rob’s directorial debut.
