Our Collaborators

“I’ve had the good fortune of collaborating with Roundabout on two of my favorite shows — She Loves Meand Cabaret. As a writer, artistic partner, audience member and donor, my experiences at Roundabout have been pretty damn good. Join me as a donor to Roundabout this season and I’ll see you there.”  —Joe Masteroff
Our journey to the stage is made possible by all of our collaborators along the way, including:
From Noël Coward to Tennessee Williams, our journey begins with the playwright’s voice. Since 1995, Roundabout has commissioned more than 25 emerging writers to help create the future theatrical canon.
The first six Roundabout Underground playwrights, Steven Levenson, Kim Rosenstock, Stephen Karam, David West Read, Andrew Hinderaker and Adam Gwon.
Roundabout is fortunate to collaborate with the world’s most talented directors and designers. Our Associate Artist program provides a home for artists and keeps them employed locally in NYC theatre.
Alessandro Nivola and director Lindsay Posner rehearsing The Winslow Boy.
Roundabout may be the closest thing to a repertory or national theatre in the U.S. today. The best actors in theatre return to our stages year after year and appreciate our loyal and engaged audiences.
Phillip Ettinger and Tracee Chimo in Bad Jews.
Roundabout partners with other leading institutions locally and across the globe to bring high quality and lesser-known work to the stage. Most recently, The Old Vic in London helped us bring The Winslow Boy to Broadway.
Meredith Forlenza, Spencer Davis Milford and Roger Rees in The Winslow Boy.
Our donors are our most valued collaborators because you make our work onstage possible. Your combined gifts provide the resources to meet our not-for-profit budget each year.

Roundabout makes the best of live theatre accessible to new patrons and audiences, not only through collaborative artistic efforts, but also with discounted ticket programs.
