Friends of Roundabout Playreading Series
The Friends of Roundabout Playreading Series offers a unique opportunity for Roundabout donors to see readings of new plays and revivals being considered for production in future seasons.
Many readings have gone on to be fully produced on Roundabout stages, including The Man Who Came to Dinner (the inaugural production at the American Airlines Theatre), Design for Living, The Rainmaker, After the Fall, Twelve Angry Men, Streamers, The Understudy, and this season's The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin.

Alec Baldwin, Emile Hirsch, TR Knight, Marisa Tomei, Bradley Cooper, Lily Rabe, Bill Irwin, Julie White, Hunter Foster, Katie Finneran and Anthony LaPaglia have participated in our Playreading Series in recent years, and playwrights have included Tom Stoppard, Debra Monk, David Rabe, Theresa Rebeck, Christopher Durang, Donald Margulies and Alan Ayckbourn.
