REQUEST A WORKSHOP OR ADD-ON EXPERIENCE
WORKSHOPS
Explore theatrical techniques and artistries in the context of a professional Broadway theatre. Participants experience hands-on activities and gain insight into the life of a theatre professional.
MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP
Using a musical genre and a song from a Roundabout production, Roundabout Teaching Artists will develop a dance combination and vocal selection for up to 50 participants. In this two-hour workshop, participants will be able to apply their creativity and skill to create a fully realized performance, followed by a career Q&A with the facilitating Teaching Artists. TECHNICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP
In this two-hour workshop, a maximum of 15 participants will work with a Roundabout Teaching Artist to gain insight and experience in a specific technical theatre artistry, such as lighting, costume, stage management, sound, or scenic design. Participants will be able to work with state-of-the-art tools and technology in the Roundabout Education Studio and learn more about the professional careers of the technicians who make theatre possible. ADD-ON EXPERIENCES

PRE-SHOW INSIGHT
A Roundabout Teaching Artist will lead a 30-minute conversation prior to the performance to answer questions, give relevant context and share insights into the production.

POST-SHOW INSIGHT
A Roundabout Teaching Artist will facilitate a 30-minute discussion following the production giving participants an opportunity to reflect on the show's themes, facilitate dialogue, and learn more about the theatre-making process

CUSTOMIZED PRE- OR POST-SHOW WORKSHOP
Participate in a workshop designed specifically for your group. Roundabout Teaching Artists will plan and facilitate a workshop that explores the production’s themes and the skills of a theatrical discipline such as acting, directing, design, or playwriting. View a sample lesson plan.
Rates: $450+
POSTCARD PRODUCTION WORKSHOPS
Participants experience the process of creating a theatrical production as they fulfill the roles of set, costume, light and sound designers, stage managers, director, actors and marketing staff. The workshop takes participants through a truncated and quick-paced rehearsal and design process using an excerpt from the show they will attend and culminates with their realized interpretations of the show. STUDENT MATINEE SERIES
Our Student Matinee series provides the best seating opportunities for student groups and features a post-performance talkback with members of the company.
Workshops and Add-On Experiences are available for all kinds of groups including schools, corporations, and community organizations.
Prices may vary depending on the length of workshop and the number of participants. Workshops are hosted by Roundabout in midtown Manhattan.
