In 1999, he wrote his first movie, <em>Scotland, PA,<\/em> which is based not only on Shakespeare\u2019s <em>Macbeth<\/em> but also as a 16-year-old Billy hated his boss at his first job, a Dairy Queen, and occasionally dreamed of his demise. (Spoiler alert). He still occasionally writes, acts (HBO\u2019s \u201cGirls\u201d) and works in interior design in Brooklyn. He is beyond thrilled that the Roundabout is making this happen.
