Thanks to the dedication of our staff and artists, next season will feature our productions of Caroline, or Change and Birthday Candles beginning this fall on Broadway, Exception to the Rule in the Underground, and …what the end will be off-Broadway. They will join the previously announced 1776, English, The Wanderers, and The Year to Come for our 2020–2021 season.
We welcome back playwright Jiréh Breon Holder following his triumphant 2017 Underground debut.
In this new work commissioned by Roundabout, three generations of men live under one roof and grapple with their own truths of what it means to be Black and gay. It’s an exploration of pride, pain, and patience through the unflinching eyes of fathers and sons.
Additional cast and creative team members will be announced at a later date.
