You reach towards the door.
You’re not sure what’s going to happen,
but you know you want to find out.
In fact, you just may be shivering with anticipation.

Welcome to the legendary Studio 54, with its infamous history of decadent fun, and the new Broadway production of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show. Inside, you’ll find a stage full of strangely irresistible characters who’ve been captivating audiences around the globe for over 50 years, now brought to reanimated life by the likes of Rachel Dratch, Andrew Durand, Luke Evans, Amber Gray, Harvey Guillén, Stephanie Hsu, Juliette Lewis, Josh Rivera, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. You’re going to hear such songs as “Sweet Transvestite,” “Dammit Janet,” and “Time Warp.” And you’re going to experience it all masterminded by Tony Award®-winning director Sam Pinkleton, of Oh, Mary! fame. And nothing will ever be the same.

Running time: 1 hour and 50 minutes, including one 15-minute intermission.

Please be advised: This production includes haze, fog, strobe effects, and sexual content.

THE WORD ON PARTICI….PATION.

The call-outs are a product of audience reactions to the film, which was two years after the stage show. We are returning to the roots of the stage show while embracing the culture of Rocky Horror. The call-outs that many people know are part of the culture, but we also want to balance the experience for the audience members who want to hear the musical and give respect to the live human actors who are onstage performing.

We embrace the many different Rocky Horror Show experiences that people come into Studio 54 with, as well as those who have never experienced it and don’t know the history. The spirit of Rocky Horror is communal joy. Choose your call-outs carefully—as this is a Broadway musical, not a midnight showing of the film.
