Roundabout Theatre Company, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit theatres, seeks a highly organized, data-driven individual to join the Development department as Manager of Development Operations. The position reports to the Director of Development Operations and ensures smooth operations for a team that fundraises $20 million annually.

This is some of what the Manager of Development Operations will do:

  • Ensure Tessitura database integrity for all donor records, including constituent information, naming conventions, memberships, relationships, moves management, and more.
  • Provide database support for all Development team members, including requests for reports, lists, extractions, analytics dashboards, etc.
  • Train all Development staff members on Tessitura and system best practices
  • Generate and upload lead pull requests for external telefunding company
  • Create and distribute Monthly Revenue Report for all fundraising activity
  • Maintain donor listings in Playbill, with monthly updates
  • Collaborate with Director of Development Operations on streamlining and documenting department policies and procedures
  • Oversee Development Operations Assistant to ensure timely processing of gifts, pledges, and acknowledgement letters
  • Manage relationships with third party research partner
  • Serve as liaison to the Sales & Analytics and Finance departments on behalf of the Development department

This is some of what the Manager of Development Operations should bring:

  • 4+ years of not-for-profit administration and CRM software experience, preferably in the development field
  • Knowledge of Tessitura necessary, and SQL preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs
  • Excellent organizational and project managements skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment

  • The salary for this position starts at $59,000 annually, commensurate with experience
