The Marketing Operations Assistant provides administrative support for the Director of Marketing and the marketing department as a whole. They are also responsible for a number of projects requiring them to work independently and with others.
This is some of what the Marketing Operations Assistant will do:
- Provide support for the Director of Marketing (managing calendar, scheduling meetings)
- Coordinate department activities by managing calendars and checklists
- Monitor and reconcile department budgets and spending through invoice coding and processing
- Route marketing assets to internal stakeholders and provide clear, concise feedback to agencies and designers
- Build/resize digital assets as needed
- Provide vacation coverage for other positions in the department
- Other duties and projects as assigned by Director of Marketing
This is some of what the Marketing Operations Assistant will bring:
- One to two years of professional work experience managing an Outlook calendar and coding invoices
- A personable and collaborative spirit and work ethic
- Attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and deadlines
- The ability to work autonomously following onboarding process
- The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with grace
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Excellent Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Interest in a career in live events/performing arts marketing
- Experience working with Tessitura preferred
- Adobe CS and/or graphic design skills a plus
- Experience with Wordfly or other email service provider a plus
This is a full-time position with all standard Roundabout benefits. The salary is $45,000 annually plus any overtime for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
