The lead support of
the Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust made possible the creation of this center, opened in 2004. The 424-seat mainstage is named for board member Laura Pels, whose generosity in 1995 helped create the company’s first off-Broadway theatre at the Criterion Center. In 2005, Roundabout completed the 62-seat black box theatre that provides a very intimate performance and rehearsal space for Roundabout artists and for performances by New York City public school students in Roundabout's arts education programs. It is home to Roundabout Underground, an initiative supporting the work of emerging writers and directors.
For our patrons, we offer the Yegen and Donnalley Lounge, named for board members Chris Yegen and Bob Donnalley. It was designed as a private space for Chairman’s Circle members to relax before a show or during intermission. Named for the late board member and dear friend of Roundabout, the Bruce Mitchell Lobby on the café level is an open space for you to meet and enjoy refreshments.

Bus Lines
- M6 bus provides local service between South Ferry and Midtown Manhattan via 7th Avenue, Broadway, and Avenue of the Americas.
- M5 bus runs along 5th Avenue, Avenue of the Americas, and Riverside Drive between Washington Heights and Greenwich Village.
