Led by Roundabout Teaching Artists, Add-On Experiences make your trip to the theatre even more meaningful and memorable.
A Roundabout Teaching Artist will lead a conversation with your students prior to the performance to give them relevant context and insider insights into the production and answer questions.
A Roundabout Teaching Artist will facilitate a discussion following the production to give your students an opportunity to reflect on the show's themes, ask questions, and learn more about the theatre-making process.
Participate in a workshop designed specifically for your group. Roundabout Teaching Artists will plan and facilitate a workshop for your group that explores the production’s themes and the skills of a theatrical discipline such as acting, directing, design, or playwriting.
POSTCARD PRODUCTION WORKSHOPS
Participants experience the process of creating a theatrical production as they fulfill the roles of set, costume, light and sound designers, stage managers, director, actors and marketing staff. The workshop takes participants through a truncated and quick-paced rehearsal and design process using an excerpt from the show they will attend and culminates with their realized interpretations of the show. Check out the video below for more info.
Add-On Experiences are available for all-kinds of groups including schools, corporations, and community organizations.
Prices may vary depending on length of workshop and number of participants. Workshops may be hosted by Roundabout in midtown Manhattan, at your location in New York City, or remotely via video call.
