A Roundabout TheatreLab workshop by Adam Gwon.
Develop your songwriting muscles in this musical theatre collaboration bootcamp! We’ll cover some basics of the craft, then embark on a collaboration marathon: composers and lyricists will be paired up each week with a prompt to inspire a brand-new song. Through weekly feedback sessions, you’ll hone your skills, broaden your toolkit, and step up your collaboration game. Open to new and returning students of all experience levels; composers should be comfortable presenting songs live or via recording.
All sessions to be conducted over Zoom. This course will have a maximum of 14 students.
Participants must apply as either a composer or a lyricist!
