Daily operations.

  • Drafting and proofreading communications and correspondence.
  • Auditing donor crediting.
  • Researching prospective funders.
  • Performing data entry for gifts.
  • Planning and coordinating special events like Gala fundraisers, opening night parties, donor dinners, and play readings.
  • Planning and executing special projects as they arise.
  • Assist the Special Events Associate and Development Managers.

Long term projects.

  • An Individual Giving or Institutional Donor project.
  • The project management of one Insider Donor Event.

After completing the program, you will be ready for a wide variety of positions, such as a Development Assistant, Communications Assistant, Special Events Assistant, or other administrative roles in a non-profit development department.
