Venue Rentals

Host your event in this historic Broadway theatre featuring elegant design and modern amenities.

Roundabout Theatre Company has operated this historic venue as its flagship Broadway home since 2000, renovating it twice and ultimately naming it The Todd Haimes Theatre, in tribute to its late, longtime artistic director and CEO.

First a legitimate theatre and then a movie theatre, this 1918 venue was unused when Roundabout took it over and restored it,  in collaboration with the nonprofit New 42 as part of New York City and New York State’s 42nd Street Redevelopment Project. Roundabout reopened it in 2000 as the American Airlines Theatre.

The institution renamed it The Todd Haimes Theatre in 2024, and shortly thereafter conducted a major renovation, thanks to generous support from the City and State of New York, with new seating; expanded accessible locations, a new lobby, restored interiors; and modernized dressing rooms, restrooms, elevators; assistive-listening technology, and infrastructure. It also opened the third-floor Mustang Hub, a new flexible-use space for rehearsals, education programming and community programming.
