Theatre Access provides discount tickets to Roundabout productions for students.
When you book your student group of 10 or more through Education at Roundabout's Theatre Access Program, you will receive the following.
$30 or less per ticket.
Interviews with the production's creative team, contextual information about the play, and teacher resources.
Led by the Education at Roundabout Teaching Artists, Add-On Experiences make your trip to the theatre even more meaningful and memorable.
A Roundabout Teaching Artist will lead a conversation with your students prior to the performance to give them relevant context and insider insights into the production and answer questions.
A Roundabout Teaching Artist will facilitate a discussion following the production to give your students an opportunity to reflect on the show's themes, ask questions, and learn more about the theatre-making process.
Participate in a workshop designed specifically for your group's needs by choosing our Customized Workshop.
We recommend that your workshop focus on theatre through the lens of Acting, Musical Theatre, Theatrical Design, or Playwrighting. One or more of our Roundabout Teaching Artists will facilitate a specialized workshop for your group that connects the production you are attending and a theatrical discipline such as acting, musical theatre, theatrical design, or playwriting.
POSTCARD PRODUCTION WORKSHOPS
Participants experience the process of creating a theatrical production as they fulfill the roles of set, costume, light and sound designers, stage managers, director, actors and marketing staff. The workshop takes participants through a truncated rehearsal and design process using an excerpt from the show they will attend and culminates with their realized interpretations of the show. Check out the video below for more info.
Prices may vary depending on length of workshop and number of participants. Workshops may be hosted by Roundabout or any New York City area client or school. Education at Roundabout offers Add-On Experiences to groups of all-kinds: students, corporations, community organizations, etc.
