PAUL GEMIGNANI (Music Director)<\/strong> has been the musical director\/conductor for more that 45 productions on Broadway and the West End, including Follies, Sweeney Todd, Evita, Dreamgirls, Merrily We Roll Along, Into the Woods, Kiss Me, Kate, Assassins,<\/em> and The Mystery of Edwin Drood,<\/em> \ufeffto mention a few.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Mr. Gemignani records with the American Theatre Orchestra and has appeared as guest conductor with the Boston, San Francisco, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Baltimore and NY Philharmonic, as well as the Royal Philharmonic and London Symphony Orchestras. He is also a guest conductor at the New York City Opera, The Chicago Lyric Opera, The Royal Opera Company and The New York City Ballet.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n His work for television and film includes \u201cSondheim: A Musical Celebration at Carnegie Hall,\u201d \u201cFollies,<\/em> Live at the Philharmonic,\u201d and A Little Night Music<\/em> for PBS\/ Live from Lincoln Center. His feature films include, Reds, A Little Night Music, Kramer vs. Kramer and in film versions of Sweeney Todd<\/em> and Into the Woods.<\/em> This year, he\u2019s represented by Mary Poppins Returns,<\/em> directed by Rob Marshall, with Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Meryl Streep.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Mr. Gemignani\u2019s Grammy nominations include Sweeney Todd, Crazy for You, Passion, Kiss Me, Kate, <\/em>and Assassins.<\/em> He also received an Emmy nomination for \u201cMy Favorite Broadway, The Love Songs.\u201d He received the 2001 Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, as well as the Los Angeles Drama Critics Award (1994) and a special Drama Desk Award (1989) for \u201cconsistently outstanding musical direction and commitment to the Theatre.\u201d In 2006, he received a Prime Time Emmy award for Best Musical Direction on the \u201cGreat Performances\u201d presentation of Rogers and Hammerstein\u2019s South Pacific<\/em>.
