Roundabout’s Celebrity Series brings members of the cast and crew to you, when a Roundabout teaching artist leads a 20-minute post-show discussion about what really happens behind the scenes of a production.
Before the show, learn more about the history of the production and its creators. A Roundabout teaching artist will prepare you for what you’re about to see and will leave you with a deeper understanding of the playwright and the world of the play. Discussions are complimentary for all who attend the performance. At the American Airlines and Laura Pels Theatres, talks begin 30 minutes before curtain. At the Stephen Sondheim Theatre and Studio 54, talks begin one hour before curtain.
Take a break from class, and then bring theatre back to your classroom. Roundabout offers substantial discounts to our shows to teachers with a valid union card. This series also includes a pre-show talk and a lively post-show discussion between you and your fellow Teachers Night Series subscribers. (One union card for every two subscriptions.)
Whether you love late dinners, value your early bedtime, or want to avoid the late commuter train, Roundabout’s Early Curtain Series will get you out of the theatre up to an hour earlier than other shows. What will you do with your extra hour?
