The Theatrical Teaching Institute (TTI) is a six-day opportunity for educators and teaching artists to add to their toolkit of teaching strategies and to stimulate their own intellect and creativity by exploring Roundabout's Theatrical Teaching Framework, which posits that every great lesson has the elements of a great play.

• Learn theatrical teaching techniques
• Apply new strategies to your curriculum
• Explore your own creativity
• Participate in workshops with Roundabout artists
• Investigate new approaches to student engagement and investment
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and artists

9:30am–5:00pm daily at the American Airlines Penthouse Lobby, August 11–16, 2019. Attendance at all dates/times is required.

“Roundabout’s TTI provides a fresh approach to teaching—regardless of subject area—that can elevate not just content delivery, but long lasting experiences for students.”

— Jim Brannigan, Smithtown High School English Teacher

"This institute has elevated my perception of theatre in the classroom. I've been given practical, rich, tangible ways to enhance and deepen student understanding of concepts and content. The application of Common Core Standards…was extremely evident in every piece of this week. Thank you."
