Explore the themes of each production after the curtain goes down. Stay in your seats after the performance to attend a 50-minute discussion with a member of the creative team, distinguished artist, scholar, historian, or critic, hosted by a Roundabout teaching artist.
Roundabout’s Celebrity Series brings members of the cast and crew to you, when a Roundabout teaching artist leads a 20-minute post-show discussion about what really happens behind the scenes of a production.
Before the show, learn more about the history of the production and its creators. A Roundabout teaching artist will prepare you for what you’re about to see and will leave you with a deeper understanding of the playwright and the world of the play. Discussions are complimentary for all who attend the performance. At the American Airlines and Laura Pels Theatres, talks begin 30 minutes before curtain. At the Stephen Sondheim Theatre and Studio 54, talks begin one hour before curtain.
Take a break from class, and then bring theatre back to your classroom. This series includes a lively post-show discussion between you and your fellow Teachers Night Series subscribers. Please note: The Teachers Night Series talkbacks will conclude at the end of the 2022-23 season.
Whether you love late dinners, value your early bedtime, or want to avoid the late commuter train, Roundabout’s Early Curtain Series will get you out of the theatre up to an hour earlier than other shows. What will you do with your extra hour?
A Relaxed Performance is an inclusive theatrical experience designed to be welcoming to individuals with neurodiverse needs and those attending with them. Along with offering a few technical modifications and support materials, this supportive environment provides an opportunity to attend live theatre in a comfortable setting. Every Friday, join Toni Stone for a ballpark-style Giveaway Night at the theatre! The first 25 patrons to check-in at the merchandise booth before the show will receive a special “Toni Stone” gift. One Lucky Ticket will win a Grand Prize after intermission. All giveaways are subject to availability; lucky ticket holders must be present at the end of the performance to collect their prize.
Student Matinees allow student groups the opportunity to have the best seats in the house and join in a talkback with cast and crew immediately following the show. They are also available to the general public.

Roundabout’s Audience Engagement events offer patrons a variety of opportunities to connect more deeply to the work, each other, and ultimately, to Roundabout Theatre Company. These events occur periodically throughout the season and are curated specifically for each production
A member of Roundabout's artistic team will lead a 20-30 minute panel discussion that explores in depth an element of the production's dramaturgy and creative process with relevant artists and creatives.
Join us post-show for a special discussion about the production. Led by a facilitator from Roundabout, you’ll have a chance to hear from your fellow audience members. Share your point of view, learn about a new perspective, and celebrate the powerful shared experience of live theatre. Audience Reflections are free and open to all who attend the performance.
